Apostol Apostolov is the President and Chair of the Board of Trustees of VUZF University since 2017. He has more than 10 years of experience as a lecturer in Capital markets at VUZF. He is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Texim Bank since 2011. He is the Chair of the Board of Directors of Central Depositary AD and is a member of the Supervisory Board of CEZ Distribution Bulgaria AD. Apostol Apostolov was the chairperson of the Financial Supervision Commission from 2003 to 2009. Before that he was the Executive Director and the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange – Sofia AD and the Executive Director of the Plovdiv Stock Exchange. He was the Executive Director of the Privatization Agency from 2001 to 2003. He graduated the Plovdiv Technical University, where he majored in Computer engineering and the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, where his major was banking.
