Prof. Lyubka Tsenova graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski „. She has defended her doctoral dissertation at the Institute for State and Law at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She graduated post-graduate specialization in „Labor law“ at the Law Faculty of Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski „. She has 30 years of teaching experience in higher education institutions. She has taught at Dimitar A. Tsenov Academy of Economics – Svistov, in Free University and Southwest University“ Neofit Rilski “ – Burgas. VUZF has been a lecturer since 2007 on International Tax Law and Labor and Social Security Law. She is the scientific supervisor of PhD students.
She has worked as an expert in the Chief Tax Directorate of the Ministry of Finance, the Legislative Council of the Ministry of Justice and as head of department and Director of the Legislation and European Law Directorate of the National Assembly.
She has specialized in the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, the US Treasury and Austria.
She has been a national correspondent since 2001 of the specialized tax magazines, International VAT Monitor and European Taxation, of the IBFD publishing group – The Netherlands.
She collaborates with the editions of the publishing complex „Bulgarian Lawyer“ and the publishing house „Dobi Pres“ – LLC, as well as with the „Administrative justice“ magazine. She is the author of five monographs, 45 studies and over 200 articles. She has participated in more than 25 scientific forums in Bulgaria and abroad.
